Breakfast Sweet Potato

I once had a boss who had a sweet potato for breakfast every morning. He just heated it up an ate it plain. I was always curious about trying it, but never did. Then I came across this recipe from Apartment Therapy: The Kitchen which takes it to a whole other level. Here’s my take on it.


  • sweet potato
  • plain or vanilla yogurt
  • drizzle of honey
  • crunch (granola or nuts)


  1. Heat potato.
  2. Cut a slit in the top and drizzle in honey.
  3. Then spoon in yogurt.
  4. Top with granola or nuts.

After extensive research googling sweet potatoes, it turns out they make one hell of a breakfast and are quite healthy.
