About

In January of 2007, I decided I wanted to create a blog. I didn’t really know what direction I wanted to go in, but I figured I’d do it cause everyone else was. I made a total of 2 posts. Then I forgot how to access the blog.
Will Work For Food was started in February of 2007 on a whim out of boredom. I thought to myself that this whole “blog” thing sounded cool way to combine two of my favorite things, food + design, and I figured this would be a great way for me to keep track of recipes I liked, inspired designs, and useless products that I want to purchase.
Fast forward to today’s date and you can see I’m still posting.
Will Work For Food is where I’ll post random things related to food and design. One day it’ll be a great easy recipe I found. Another it’ll be a new bottled water that you should try. And most recently it’ll be a wine recommendation…not necessarily because it tastes good, but because the label looks good.
If it’s got something to do with food and eating, design, culture or anything else, you can find it here.
WWFF will also feature links to daily food related goodness, whether it’s a new product, a new restaurant or anything food related in general.
Welcome to WILL WORK FOR FOOD. Let the blogging begin.

Good find. I actually get this delivered to my TiVo like once every couple of weeks in short video form. He does a really good job explaining and demonstrating. I’ll definitely check out the podcast.
That’s a seriously cool logo.
Thanks raincoaster. Glad ya like it.
hi Will (?!). I don’t usually write about food or health, although they’re topics with which I’m somewhat familiar and in which I’m particularly interested. As such, I haven’t been in particular contact with people writing and blurgging in the area. You seem to run a very good and well-focussed resource here, and I thought you might find this link interesting to check out. Have a great day or several

Hey cdm1,
I randomly linked to your blog a few days ago and am loving the read. I’m a newbie too. Perhaps there should be a new blogger support group. Or at least some free booze.
Keep on trucking.
Thanks Gluttonist. Glad you like it. Yours’ is great too! I’ll definitely be posting that Master Chefs video later. The spotted dick post, not so much. Of course you’ll get credit. Great find! Free booze? I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks! Moving back soon? There are a lot of great places in LA popping up almost daily. You have a great blog too!
Hey!
Your blog is super.Thank you for providing thought-provoking topics.
Great find! I really enjoy your posts on art and food…definitely a connection for me. And, really liked your post on making better choices in the fast food lane. I’m with you, always amazed at the line of cars vs. empty counters inside
Looking forward to more!
Ok. This is SO NOT FOOD RELATED – but I thought you’d get a kick out of this:

Great link! Thanks Jaden! Although it doesn’t look food related from the outside, you could always take that paper and scribble a menu on the back of it, so consider it appropriate! I’ll let it slide this time…
hi c
i really enjoyed coming across your blog. i like that mix of interests, food and design. intriguing. I once spent a day at a wine tasting with a good friend who owns a design agency here in England. We only tasted wines whose labels we found intersting. we still got pissed of course.
I’m doing something similar back about my interests in simple cooking for blokes who don’t do cooking, mixed up with my interests in art, sport, (UK)tv, and life in our adopted home in italy. have a look sometime
