Olive oil is a thing of beauty. It’s rich gold color always stands out on a counter top. And although some olive oil bottles look nice, this really makes your oil stand out.

Well yeah, but it’s for a good cause. On March 22nd in NYC, on World Water Day, participating restaurants will charge $1 for tap water that is usually free. This is all part of the Tap Project. But why charge? Because all the money goes to UNICEF to help provide safe drinking water to children around the world.
Great idea. My only question is why isn’t every restaurant all over the country doing this? And why only one day? Why not everyday?

Food Network is launching a reality-show search to find its next Iron Chef.
The show, tentatively named The Next Iron Chef of America, is casting now for professional chefs who will compete to join the show’s stable of celebrity cooks. It will be hosted by Iron Chef host Alton Brown and is scheduled for a fall premiere.
